This is a simple but stunning, stylish saree in plain black body and a white border with floral traditional designs. There is a hint of zari flowers in the paar (border).

The defining aspect of this textile are its rich motifs, all intricately added by hand, Jamdani is known as one of the most advanced hand weaving techniques in the world.
Each motif has to be inlaid into the fabric by adding denser threads to fine warp threads. This process is so time- and labor -intensive that it takes about 8-12 weeks for two weavers to produce a saree of an intricate pattern.
Dhakai Jamdani prices are related to the thread quality used .Most exclusive cotton sarees are woven in 80-100 count threads which result in a very fine quality , light weight and exclusive Dhakai Jamdani saree.
